Frequently asked questions

Does sweat or water affect the jewelry?

The base material of our silver colored chains and bracelets is made of 316L stainless steel, and will not necessarily be affected by water, sweat, or your cologne, which makes it great for everyday use. However, excessive exposure to water or sweat might cause the plating to tarnish faster. This is also the case with some of our cheaper pendants when it uses brass as a base material, which might reduce the lifespan compared to our more expensive pendants.

How do I know which materials I'm allergic to?

Unfortunately, it is hard to tell. An allergic reaction usually begins within hours to days after exposure. Some people have an allergic skin reaction to a specific chemical (Nickel) found in stainless steel and lower karat gold. If your skin is sensitive, it's best to go for hypoallergenic materials, such as solid gold, silver, or rhodium.

How would I know that your jewelry is actually of good quality?

Because we make sure that our jewelry withstands the burden it may have when you wear it under normal circumstances daily. Our plated jewelry will last for about one year under intense circumstances before the layer underneath becomes visible. We make sure our jewelry is tested thoroughly before we put them in the store :)

Why does your jewelry not make my skin green?

Because the base material of our jewelry is 316L stainless steel. The skin might turn green from some jewelry because it is made from copper. We make sure that this does not happen by carefully selecting and checking the material of all of our jewelry before we offer them for sale.
